Brethren,

Brethren, one month has passed already and it really is amazing how time travels.  February has arrived and we’re in the heart of winter.  I can’t tell you enough how proud I am of our line of Officers and truly honored to be a part of this Lodge.  More importantly, this Lodge could not be where it is today without your membership, assistance, and attendance at our Stated, Extra, and Special meetings or events.  I am dedicated into increasing attendance at all our functions.  I believe this could be read like an equation:  as promotion of the craft and the attendance increases at meetings; petitions should increase.  We have quite a few petitions in the near future.  We are blessed to have had Brother Ralph H. Slider Sr., PDDGM serve these past six years to the 10th Masonic district and Brother David M. Howells Jr., DDGM for serving as our current.  Congratulations to you both.  It has been an honor and will continue to be an honor and pleasure to serve and assist in your duties.

Part of our craft involves conducting random acts of kindness that improve our society and the only thing we might consider in return, is a smile.  This is one of the many principles and personal favorite that I enjoy in Freemasonry.  Because I may have been a bit winded last Stated meeting, I did want to mention, how I’d like to encourage members to visit Brethren who live in skilled or assisted nursing homes.  Many of these Brethren may wish to attend Lodge but are not able to.  This way they can still feel part of this wonderful fraternity.  Finally, this past month we finished raising a few Brothers and have much more work in progress. There is a lot of opportunity for all our Officers to confer degrees.  It really is exciting, so please join us in the fine work being performed.  I hope to see you the 3rd Thursday each month and Monday’s Extra meetings for degree work.  Peace and be safe.

 Fraternally,

Brian J. Wiener, WM
