Worshipful Master's Message for February, 2004

Brethren,

I must start by thanking our speaker for Jan., Bro. Charles (Rick) Sherer P.M. and Lt. Comm. U.S.N. Brother Rick is a member of our Lodge, and gave a slid talk on his tour in Iraq with the C.B’s. Bro. Rick will receive the National R.O.A.  Officer of the year award which covers all U.S. branches of service. This is a big award. 

Next, my thanks to all came out to our Jan. Stated meeting in the very bitter COLD; our lodge was warm with brotherly love as always. I hope all left that night feeling as good as I do after each lodge meeting.

My speaker for our Feb. Stated meeting is Dr. James Jackson, who will give a talk on Prince Hall Lodges. Dr. Jackson is a member of Wyoming Lodge which meets in our Temple. This is in keeping with my Masonic theme for the year. To learn more about our fraternity at each meeting.

NOW for a commercial- The Spring Gala or Ladies night is fast coming up. April the 17^th, and tickets are going fast, for real. Now is the time to write your check. Ham tickets are here for April, see any officer, and help support your lodge. The Golf committee is gearing up for May! Stay tune for more information a bus trips, coming up this year.                                                      

I have asked all Brothers at our Jan. stated meeting to CALL ONE BROTHER they know, but have not seen in lodge for some time. To bring them along to our next stated meeting I hope some of you will get a call soon. Remember no test to get in.
