Worshipful Master's Message for April, 2005

Brethren,

March was another great month for Greenleaf Lodge.  The attendance for our Stated meeting increased yet again!  We also had a fantastic evening on March 28 where we raised Brother Keith Conklin to a Master Mason, and entered Ryan Roesser, son of Br. Rick Roesser, into our fraternity.  It was heart-warming to see so many brothers in attendance for a degree on a rainy night.  We also had the pleasure of seeing an outstanding third degree performed by Br. Ralph Slider, and great first degree given by Br. Pete Seyler.  (This was the first time Br. Pete conferred a degree, and he did a super job!)

Remember Brethren, our 15th Annual Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2005 at Shepard Hills Golf Club, and we are looking forward to another great day of golf and fellowship.  We always sell out, so, get your reservations to Brother Rick Roesser right away.  Also, Brethren, it is the sponsors that make this event possible, and I'd like to ask all of you in assisting us in finding sponsors.  Sponsorships start at just $50.  See Br. Rick or myself for details.

This month's program will be "A History of Greenleaf Lodge".  This program will be given by Brothers Brian Timms and Jim Barbour.  They have had great enthusiasm for this project, and have told me they have learned a great deal while doing their research. I am certain that we will all learn something from them, and encourage you all to attend.

Thanks to all of you who have contributed to make our fraternity and this Lodge great.

 Fraternally yours,

Gaetan T. Giannini, WM

Brethren Take Notice

May's Stated meeting will be the last official visit by Br. Skip Steckel as District Deputy Grand Master.  Brethren, please make a point to get to May's meeting.  I'd like to fill the room to show our gratitude for all Brother Skip has done for us.  We will be having a special stewards report to mark the occasion.

Get your reservation in for the Golf Tournament and don't forget to             help us find some sponsors.
