Worshipful Master's Message for May, 2004

     Brethren,

A special thanks to Brother Theodore W. Schick, Jr. for his program about Pythagoras and his school and how it became a part of the Past Master's Jewel. Those not in attendance, ask about the bean field.

This month we will present the 50 and 25 year awards. Please come and honor these men. Also, this is the month for the District Deputy Grand Master's visit. We need a good turnout for this special meeting. Last week, I was at Jordan Lodge for this, their program, and they had 60 Brothers in attendance. It felt right. I think we can do at least the same or more.

Spring Gala was a hit with about 190 Brothers and Ladies attending. This was the first, but I hope not the last. It's good to meet with our Brothers from other Lodges and bodies to keep up our friendships. Also, we hope to have 2 new petitions to ballot on. I know of more petitions coming. Thank you for al this, but please keep them coming.

The road trip have started. Hope everyone enjoyed the N.Y. play trip. The next one is to Grand Lodge and Atlantic City, Saturday, June 19'th. We will be leaving from the Temple. Please sign up early. The cost is only $25.00 and includes the bus, tour of the Grand Lodge and a rebate from the casino in Atlantic City.

GOLF OUTING, Saturday, May 15'th (Think "Good weather") still room for golfers. Good golf, food, and prizes. We need sponsors. If you would like to golf or can have a business be a hole sponsor, please call Brother Rick Roesser at 610-967-0347 or Brother Wilson Leonard at 610-791-1162.

Yours in the Gentle Craft,

James E. Flemming
