Worshipful Master's Message for June, 2003

Brethren,

Well, the year is half over. Time sure flies. Even though the sun rarely seems to shine on our valley.

I would like to thank District Deputy Grand Master, Brother Robert W. "Skip" Steckel, for his official visit. It was a memorable evening and a real pleasure to honor our 50 and 25-year members.

Greenleaf's annual golf outing was a complete success. The rain stayed away. The golfers played up to par, enjoyed the festivities, and a good time was had by all. I would like to especially thank Brother Rick Roesser and the other members of the golf committee for all the time and effort they spent on this for our enjoyment.

June's meeting will bring us Dianne Matthews-Gehringer, Land Conservation Manager at Wildlands Conservancy. She will speak on land protection and options for landowners. Dianne is very active in the agriculture community and serves on the Board of Directors for the Lehigh County Agricultural Land Preservation Program.

Don't forget the DeMolay versus Masons softball game and picnic on Sunday, July 13 from noon until 5:00.

I would like to wish all the Brethren of Greenleaf Lodge a safe and enjoyable summer. We look forward to seeing you at the Stated Meetings in June and beginning again in September.

Fraternally,

Warren D. Wademan

Worshipful Master
