Worshipful Master's Message for September, 2002

Dear Brethren,

    Welcome back from our two-month hiatus. I am sure everyone had a relaxing, but hot summer. Hopefully, the time away helped rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit. However, all good things must come to an end and now it is time to get back to our Masonic calendar year.

    September will be a busy month for the Lodge, starting with our Stated Meeting. The agenda for the Stated Meeting will consist of honoring our Past Masters, the exemplification of the examination of a visitor, Bob Chatin will give a presentation regarding horn work, and since September is Masonic Youth Month, we will have a DeMolay representative give a short presentation. On Saturday, September 21, 2002, we will be running a bus trip to Elizabethtown for Autumn Day. The bus will leave at 9:00 A.M. from the Masonic Temple parking lot. Anyone who is interested can contact me to sign up.

    Greenleaf Lodge's Annual Banquet will be held on Monday, November 4, 2002 at Lehigh Country Club. Congressman Pat Toomey will be the guest speaker, thanks to the efforts of Don Smith. It is an honor to have such a distinguished member of our community speak at our function so please purchase your tickets early for Greenleaf's final major event of the year.
