Worshipful Master's Message for November, 2002Dear Brethren, Most of us this month will be sitting down at the dining room table for a cornucopia of food. Mountains of mashed potatoes, turkey with gravy running off of it like a river, and cranberry sauce will be had by all. However, I will be eating a slightly different meal. My plate will feature a bale of hay because in the not so distant future, I will be put out to pasture, or at least that is the way it will feel. The point of this analogy is that the November Stated Meeting will be Warden's Night. This means the officers will get a one chair promotion for the night, therefore, temporarily putting me out of a job. I encourage our Brethren to attend the meeting to obtain a glimpse of what the future officer lineup will look like. Finally, I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! These troubled times we live in truly puts life in perspective and helps us see what we should be thankful for: friends, family, and more importantly, life itself. Happy Thanksgiving!
Fraternally, |
